Hardly any other premium beer has remained as faithful to itself as Jever. For over 160 years, Jever has cultivated his own Frisian-bitter taste. And that has a reason: the brewing water. At the same time it is especially pure and soft, and allows us to admit more hops. That makes Jever so Frisian-tart and refreshing at the same time.
ABV: 5.0% | STYLE: Unfiltered German Pilsner
The story of the Frisian brewery to Jever begins in 1848. On November 10, innkeeper Diedrich König announces that he sells a bottled beer. At that time, the brewery was just one of many in the area.
